TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Authorities are continuing to search for 25-year-old Tavon Jackson, the suspect in the murder of a woman at a Tallahassee Walgreens.
On August 30, 23-year-old Javona Glover was stabbed to death at the Tennessee Street Walgreens store where she worked.
The Tallahassee Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit, the Career Criminal Unit and the US Marshal’s Service are continuing to search for Jackson.
Authorities believe Jackson may have changed his appearance in an attempt to conceal his identity. Investigators have released digitally-enhanced photos of Jackson -- one with dreadlocks and one without -- in the hopes that it will assist the community in recognizing him.
The mother of Javona Glover has pledged up to an additional $5,000 to match the reward being offered by the U.S. Marshals. The total reward for information that directly leads to the arrest of Tavon Jackson is now up to $10,000.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jackson is urged to call the U.S. Marshals tip line at 1-877-WANTED2.
