(Above photo credit: Tacoma/Pierce Crime Stoppers) From Tacoma/Pierce County Crime Stoppers: Wanted for Murder Liban Abudulkadir Sheikh The FBI needs your help in locating homicide suspect Liban Abudulkadir Sheikh. A felony warrant has been issued for Sheikh’s arrest for Murder in the 1st degree, Assault in the 1st degree, and Burglary in the 1st degree. Detectives believe that just after 3:00 a.m. in the morning on November 27th, 2002, suspect Liban Sheikh armed himself with a gun and forced his way into a residence at the Meadowpark Apartments on 146th St. SW in Lakewood. Once inside the apartment, Sheikh shot two victims multiple times, killing victim Ricky Sinclair. Detectives believe the suspect shot the victim in retaliation for a fight the previous day. Liban Sheikh is a Somalian male, 32 years old, 5’11”, 180 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. Detectives believe he may have fled to Africa or Europe. The FBI is looking for any information regarding Sheikh’s whereabouts. www.tpcrimestoppers.com/case.php?id=34Thoughts? Just a relatively unimportant side note that we also have a Canadian Fugitive on our site named Liban Sheikhadem. These two cases are obviously different and it's just a coincidence that the two men have almost the same name. Admin Note #1: Since Liban Sheikh is listed on the Tacoma-Pierce Crime Stoppers website, our advice for anyone with information regarding his whereabouts would be to contact them. Information on how to remain anonymous and leave them a tip with them can be found at the following link: www.tpcrimestoppers.com/leave-tip
Admin Note #2: If you have any (news-related) updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

It still wouldn't be easy but I am more optimistic in locating Liban Sheikh if he fled to Europe rather than his native Somalia where currently an extradition wouldn't be possible.
This is seemingly the 100th time I have said something like this, but Liban Sheikh should have had the maturity of an adult to not settle this dispute with Ricky's murder. If only these people would understand in the next century.

Liban Sheikh will be harder to extradite if he’s in Somalia, so our best bet is that if he’s in Europe it’s more of a likelihood for him to be extradited, capturing him in Somalia and Europe is no problem, but the extradition will be a key issue. The only way he could theoretically be caught in Somalia and extradited is if U.S. Military forces stationed over there pick him up instead.

It seems there’s another way to get a fugitive out of Somalia, and that is to pay the country to capture the fugitive and send him/her back to the country he/she is wanted out of. As was this case in 2009 when UK Home Office snatched a Somali national Mustaf Jama, who was sought for the killing of a police officer during a robbery gone wrong. amp.theguardian.com/global/2009/jul/22/murder-snatch-beshenivsky-pc

I think it’s weird that they removed this case about a year after they added him to the website.
You would think that with the international connections this guy has, that the FBI would be keen to plaster his face out to other countries even in Somalia.
