BRIDGETON COPS ID SUSPECT IN TEEN'S MURDER

*David Marroquin of Bridgeton is accused of shooting 17-year-old Rosi Soriano Romero in the chest.
Police have identified a local man as the suspect in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old youth Tuesday at 277 N. Laurel St.
A warrant has been issued charging David Marroquin, 35, with the murder of Rosi Soriano Romero, said Detective Robert Parks.
The warrant also charges Marroquin, who was still being sought Thursday, with unlawful possession of a weapon and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, said Parks.
Superior Court Judge Rushton Ridgway set bail on the warrant at $350,000 cash, said Parks.
Romero, a laborer at an area nursery, was killed by a single gunshot wound of the chest about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said. An ambulance took him to the South Jersey Hospital System's Bridgeton Division, where he was pronounced dead after efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
Marroquin, whose last known address was 285 1/2 N. Laurel St., is suspected to still be in the Cumberland County area, said Parks. Investigators are continuing to look for him and have contacted other law enforcement agencies in an attempt to locate him.
"We're still looking into the motive (for the crime)," said Parks. "I can tell you alcohol was involved."
Parks declined to provide any further details on the circumstances of the shooting.

Thoughts? According to the AMW Master List Scumhunter received last year, David Marroquin was featured on AMW at some point during the 1990s, probably in 1994. I found the archived Bridgeton, New Jersey Most Wanted page that existed until 2007 and it had David Marroquin on it. New Jersey is a state where finding fugitive information is not the easiest thing in the world so David is probably still wanted as of this posting date (9/25/2017) (If anyone has any proof of a capture then we would be delighted to hear about it).
