The FBI is seeking the public's assistance in locating Marcellus Antoine Burgin, who is being sought for alleged offenses relating to racketeering and fraud charges in connection with the attempted capital murder of a Texas District Court Judge in November 2015. The victim was shot outside her home in Austin, Texas. On September 20, 2016, Burgin was indicted for racketeering activity, wire fraud, and aggravated identity theft in the United States District Court, Western District of Texas, Austin Division.
It is also alleged that from 2012 to 2015, Burgin and others carried out various fraudulent schemes for financial gain in Austin and Houston, Texas, as well as in the state of Louisiana, and surrounding areas. These schemes included mail fraud, bribery of a public official, wire fraud, document fraud, access device fraud, money laundering, and offenses involving murder. It is alleged that on the night of November 6, 2015, Burgin and others attempted to murder the judge who was presiding over a co-conspirator's case.

Thoughts? Added Burgin to the website since the FBI added him to their website today. Needless to say, attempted murder of a Judge obviously makes this a federal and very serious case along with the other crimes Marcellus Burgin is accused of.
