Austin police are searching for a man accused of starting an online sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl and then acting it out in real life. According to arrests warrants, police are now looking for Reynaldo "Ray" Solis, Jr. for the alleged aggravated sexual assault of a child. APD Detective Carl Satterlee says the 13-year-old girl and Solis first met at family soccer event at beginning of this year.
Satterlee says Solis knew the young girls parents and the two started to exchanged online instant messages following that first meeting for several months. Once he had gained the 13-year-old's trust, Solis arranged to meet her and that is when he raped her.
Austin police believe Solis may be on the run, headed towards Mexico.

Thoughts? Parents everywhere have to be aware of their children's online activity, especially instant messaging services (including Facebook). There are too many Reynaldo Solis's out there who exploit these services to commit sex crimes against children. Fugitives like Reynaldo don't quit and it's imperative that he gets caught as soon as possible.
