On Jul 22, 2008, Daniel Rodriguez was driving his company's truck when he ran a red light and struck a mail carrying van. The driver, Donnie Evett was killed in the impact. Daniel fled Corsciana, Texas and Federal authorities have gotten as far as identifying some family members in Mexico. The US Postal Service is offering a $50,000 reward for a tip leading to Daniel's arrest. Authorities were only able to come up with a sketch of Daniel because no photo of him is known to exist.
---
Thoughts? This is going to be a tough case to solve since we only have an estimated sketch of Daniel Rodriguez, and not a photo. Also the US Postal Service poster says that he was using the name of Daniel Gonzalez Rodriguez, so it is not 100% certain that it is his real name. He is a federal fugitive since his victim was a US government employee on official government business, so his case is being taken extremely seriously. Hopefully, despite the challenges, authorities can locate and arrest him.
According to his wanted poster, anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Daniel Rodriguez should contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455 (select Option 2) or the Corsicana Police Department at 903-654-4902.
