From CBS Los Angeles:
POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Police sought the public’s help Tuesday to locate a 39-year-old man who is wanted in connection with a murder that took place nearly seven years ago in Pomona.
According to the Pomona Police Department, Francisco Javier Rodriguez, also known as Huero, is suspected of murdering 30-year-old Jose DeJesus Chavez on the night of May 5, 2009.
Rodriguez allegedly used his vehicle to intentionally run over Chavez in the 300 block of South Huntington Street, police said.
Rodriguez is accused of reversing his vehicle and running over Chavez a second time before he fled from the scene at a high rate of speed without rendering aid.
Chavez died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Rodriguez’s vehicle was located and impounded, however, he remains at large.
Detectives described him as a Hispanic man who has brown hair and eyes, stands 5-foot-8 tall and weighs 170 pounds.
The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Rodriguez has been urged to contact the Pomona Police Department at (909) 802-7429 or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.

Thoughts? The above article is from January of this year and I've seen no updates since then so I'm assuming that Rodriguez is unfortunately still at large as of this posting date. (8/28/2016). I also can't find anything about a motive. But obviously no motive justifies the horrible crime Rodriguez is accused of.
