Apparently, Matt Doran will stay on as a reporter, but Chris Hansen (of Dateline NBC: To Catch A Predator fame), will be the new host. The article suggests the ratings were good enough for a second season, but not that great overall. Sorry to see Doran get demoted, but hopefully Hansen's name recognition will get more viewers to watch the show and least Doran still gets to stay on in some capacity. extratv.com/2016/08/22/chris-hansen-on-what-to-expect-in-crime-watch-daily-season-2/

Can I hope that more than a couple of fugitive stories will be on Season 2? I am sure that there would be countless child predators at large that Chris Hansen would be delighted to see caught.

I have a fear that the show might change format, be less about unsolved cases and more about exposes now but I guess we'll see. He apparently is bringing back the "Catch A Predator" segments and I do admittedly enjoy those though.

South Park Episode #1108, Le Petit Tourette. Never thought I'd see you posting one of those. It's among the best animated shows for adults, and it's headed into Season 20 next month!

I've said multiple times in private (and I'll admit so on here as well) that the way I run this site is much different than my "non-Scumhunter" or "non-amwfans.com" personality and I much politically incorrect when I'm not on here. This site, while not making any money at the moment (I don't really care to anyway), I still feel I have to run like a sort of business and keep in mind it's read by multiple people, family members of victims, people of all ages, etc... For example, if this weren't amwfans.com, I would have posted a gif of what the men on South Park do right after realizing they've walked into Chris Hansen's show LOL. I admittedly haven't seen as many South Parks as I used to lately, but unlike The Simpsons and Family Guy which have also been on for a long time when I do it hasn't really lost a step. But getting back to topic, the fact that Chris Hansen is not just well known for his crime shows but has also inspired parodies on all types of shows will hopefully be a good sign for increased ratings for Crime Watch Daily.

I actually just watched a case on Crime Watch Daily's website. They are still doing regular cases, and unsolved ones too. But they have a lot of other stuff you have to wade through.
As to South Park, while I hate that they cut the seasons down and there's such a long wait, the past two seasons have been excellent in my opinion. It's definitely changed from what it started out as, each new episode references something that happened in previous episodes.

I think Chris Hansen is a great host for Crime Watch Daily and It's will helped take down some of the Dangerous Fugitives and helped find missing children as well
