www.northjersey.com/news/North_Plainfield_gang_member_indicted_in_shooting_that_wounded_young_boy.htmlELIZABETH, N.J. — A reputed gang member has been indicted in connection with a northern New Jersey street shooting that left a 5-year-old boy seriously injured. Eighteen-year-old Jose Rodriguez of North Plainfield faces attempted murder and weapons charges in the indictment handed up Friday by a Union County grand jury. Prosecutors say Rodriguez was walking with friends in January when they encountered members of a rival gang on a Plainfield street. Rodriguez allegedly followed the other group and fired several shots from a .22-caliber handgun. None of the other gang members was struck, but a stray bullet hit the boy as he walked home from school with his mother. The child was hospitalized for several weeks but has since recovered from his wounds. Copyright 2013 The Associated Press.

The non-AMW fugitive I'm going to post about tomorrow is wanted in yet another one of these type of cases. And in Brooklyn a few months ago, a man was arrested after 11-year old girl was shot and feared paralyzed in gang shootout crossfire (even worse, the arrested teenager laughed and found it hilarious when he found out that he accidentally hit an 11-year old girl). Add this to the Rashid Mayo incident and I just want to throw my hands up.
I'm personally sick and tired of it and something needs to be done to reverse this trend.
