On September 22, 1982, it is alleged that Aulton Daniel Goben robbed a bank in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Goben was charged by local authorities and was subsequently arrested. He later posted bond.
Several months later, in 1983, Goben allegedly kidnapped a woman and her daughter in Grand Rapids and forced them to drive him to Lansing, Michigan. There, they were tied up, gagged, and left in a ditch. Goben was subsequently charged with kidnapping and armed robbery relating to this incident.
A federal arrest warrant was issued on March 24, 1983, in the Western District of Michigan, charging Goben with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution for bank robbery, armed robbery and kidnapping.
According to Michigan State Police, Goben was also suspected in several bank robberies in Detroit, Michigan in 2002.

Thoughts? Aulton Goben is certainly one of the fugitives on this forum who has re-offended the most. If it's true that he committed several bank robberies 20 years after the first known bank robbery he committed then that's pretty prolific. With a disfigured left eye, he shouldn't be that hard to locate, especially with the publicity he received as one of Michigan's Most Wanted fugitives for several years. He's from Chicago so he might be hiding out in another Midwestern state like Illinois or Indiana.
