DETROIT (WXYZ) - An accused killer with a long history of drugs and violence has been evading police for more than three years.
The U.S. Marshals are turning to 7 Action News for help after the successful capture of several dangerous fugitives.
Investigators believe Frederick Gordon, known as Jeezy, has been bouncing back and forth from Detroit to other states to avoid being caught for several years and may even have some help.
Gordon is accused of killing one man on Detroit’s east side, but U.S. Marshals Detroit Fugitive Apprehension Team supervisor Aaron Garcia says it could have easily been many more.
“He could have killed anybody, he could have killed multiple people in that house,” Garcia said.
Reginald Hall, 39, died of multiple gunshots at a house in December 2011. Authorities say he was the target of Frederick Gordon’s violent rage and had no chance in the shooting spree.
“Frederick Gordon, Jeezy, walks in the door, looks around, basically stalks his prey,” Garcia said.
Police still don’t know a motive or how or if Gordon knew the victim.
“He sees the victim at the table, the victim stands up and Jeezy begins firing multiple shots,” he said. “Shoots multiple shots, turns around and walks out the door.”
On the run ever since, Gordon is a top priority for the U.S. Marshals and Detroit Police.
“Violent guy, habitual offender, career criminal,” Garcia said.
An East Detroit native, police say Gordon is pretty well know.
“He has a lot of friends, a lot of acquaintances, he’s possibly still here. He hangs out in the east side,” he said. “This is a bad guy and this guy needs to go to jail.”
Hiding from police for more than three years now, they’re afraid it’s just a matter of time before he strikes again.
“This guy will continue to do what he needs to do to stay out there on the lamb and fund himself to stay alive," Garcia says. "He needs to go to jail and we need your help to find him.”
Frederick Gordon is 38-years-old, wanted in Detroit for murder and considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on where he may be should call the U.S. Marshals available 24/7 at (313) 234-5656.

Thoughts? Just a technical note. According to a Detroit criminal records search I did, Gordon was born on 6/11/1973 so he would be 43 years old as of this posting date.
