On December 18, 1998, Linda Tran who was seven months pregnant was at her Tacoma home with her 9-year old daughter, Patricia and one-year old son Austin. A man showed up at her doorstep wielding a bat and forced his way inside with Linda's children. Authorities say that man beat the three victims to death and set Linda's home on fire, causing the residence to explode. The killer seen that night was described as black or dark-skinned male, with a muscular build and being around 30-years old at the time. He was finally seen getting into a dark-coloured sedan with a driver waiting for him. --- Thoughts? This is an extremely horrible unsolved murder case, and I am really surprised it never even made amw.com. As for the motive, investigators think this was a personal crime committed by someone close to Linda Tran. That would make sense, except crimes of passion usually don't involve getaway drivers, so perhaps this may have not been a crime of passion. According to online articles, anyone with information regarding this case should contact Tacoma police at (253) 798-4721 or for anonymous tips can call 1-800-222-TIPS.

yeah it's surprising such a tragic and brutal case seems to be virtually ignored by everyone besides Washington's Most Wanted for 16 years. This doesn't seem to me to be the most difficult to case- there's a sketch, people talk etc... it's a matter of getting it to the right people.
