According to Pima County Crimestoppers, further vital stats for Carlos Velez are unknown.
---
On June 10, 2007, authorities in Tucson, Arizona discovered the body of Michael Crescenzo lying underneath a piece of plywood in his home. He had been beaten in his neck and was asphyxiated to death with a plastic bag. Witness interviews and evidence at the scene led authorities to Carlos Samaniego Velez, a man who had briefly worked with Michael. Before Michael's murder, a Ford van and several pieces of office equipment were stolen from his home, that may have led to Michael's murder. Carlos fled Tucson after the murder.
---
Thoughts? Nine years later and not anything in the way of publicized updates in this manhunt. Since Tucson is relatively close to Mexico, Carlos probably fled south of the border. I also find it interesting that unlike other fugitives on Pima County Crimestoppers's website, we don't know Carlos's height, weight and eye colour. This makes me speculate that Carlos recently came to the US right before Michael's murder and never filled out documentation that would reference those vital stats, but I don't know that for certain.
Since Carlos Samaniego Velez is listed on the Pima County Attorney's Office Crime Stoppers website, our advice for anyone with information on his whereabouts would be to contact them. Information on how to call, text, and/or submit a web tip to them can be found at the following link: 88crime.org/
