Central Ohio Crime Stoppers is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a Sexual Assault which took place in Columbus.
On Saturday, August 22, 2015, Columbus Police responded to a residence in the Sawmill Road and Tuller Parkway area on the report of a sexual assault. Upon arrival, officers located a female victim who had been violently assaulted. Sexual Assault detectives were able to determine that this crime happened at the hands of an unidentified male who had befriended the victim earlier the same evening over a casual meeting and drinks. The suspect is described as: Male/White, 25-35, with short, dark hair.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the person(s) responsible for this crime. Thoughts? This case is very similar to the still unsolved Liz Plott rapist case that we have what I believe to be cell phone imaging of the rapist. I feel that this is a really solvable case, people just need to be aware of this monster and just one person needs to be able to recognize him. Also both links below provide information on the rapist's distinctive tattoos, which are great clues.
