(Above photo credit: stophoustongangs.org) Sex: Male Race: White Height: 6’01” Weight: 230 pounds Age: 46 (Approximately) Gang: Texas Syndicate --- In 1998, Jesus Serna, his relative Saul and Christopher Ibarra broke into an apartment in north Harris County, Texas. The two men inside, 19-year old Ali Scott and 18-year old Darrion Surgers got into a shootout with the three burglars. Ali and Christopher were killed in the exchange of gunfire. The murders went unsolved for years until new leads came about in 2007, the investigation led to Saul Serna's arrest in 2011. Saul was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2013 while Jesus Serna went on the run. --- Thoughts? With Saul's conviction, Jesus is going to have a very hard time proving his innocence if he is caught and put on trial for the murders of Ali and Darrion. When you commit a crime with accomplices, you are held liable for the deaths of any of your accomplices as a charge of murder, as well as the deaths of any innocent victims as well. It took a very long time to get Saul convicted and we need to complete the amazing work done by investigators by taking down Jesus as well. According to online articles, anyone with information on Jesus's whereabouts should contact the HCSO’s Criminal Warrants Division at 713-755-6055 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

It's how amazing how when I watch shows like The First 48 how ignorant some of the suspects are when it comes to these types of shootings and how the law works. They're always like "but I wasn't the one who shot him." when it's like dude, you were there and it happened during a crime you were committing. It doesn't matter. (This is why if they're smart, they'll offer to help to convict the shooter so they get a light sentence- not cooperating or going on the run pretty much ensures a harsher sentence than they would have gotten. (sans a guilty plea))
