On the old AMW.COM forums, a popular thread was when we would discuss our shock over on-the-run fugitives still not get caught. Figured we'd get this going again! Here are some of mine- albeit some of the names are likely familiar:
Paul Winklebleck- The guy we talk about the most when it comes to surprise at not being caught. We're all shocked because he looks exactly like Larry The Cable Guy as evidenced in our popular fugitive celebrity look-a-likes thread.
Jason Brown- After reading the e-book I get it. His father disappeared. He is able to blend in and unfortunately very smart. With the tons of publicity, and appearances on AMW, I'm surprised even he can outrun the arms of the law for this long.
Mike Gutierrez- As his AMW airing showed, the guy, without trying to sound too mean since these were actually the words of an official on the show "looks like a bumbling idiot." Add that to his tattoos all over his neck and body and it's surprising this slack-jawed yokel has yet to become a direct capture.
Glen Holmes Jr.- Shocked he's been on the run since being named to one of John Walsh's top 10 of 2009. On a list with a few fugitives likely or possibly in other countries, he was a guy who I felt was still in the states that didn't seem that hard to find. I don't think a guy that orders food at the drive-thru right after he kills someone is exactly the brightest fugitive. Yet he's still out there.

Glen Holmes was Walsh's #10th Most Wanted Fugitive of 2009. Anyway I have a couple of names I want to bring up. Luke Artinger - He's young, prone to committing violent crimes and can only travel by skateboard. If he's still in Orange County, California then I'm baffled as to why he hasn't resurfaced by now. Janet & Ramon Barreto - Authorities have narrowly missed these two and Janet isn't going to be able to stay on the run forever. If she at least isn't caught within a couple of months after being placed on the USMS 15 MW List then I'll be astounded. Kenneth Crouch - Is a white guy with a southern accent going to blend well in Northern Mexico (last sighted in Laredo, Texas), most likely not. Also off topic, but anyone else notice that a new fugitive was uploaded to amw.com? www.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=81256

And it's ok, I also went off-topic in a thread when it came to their last web-exclusive fugitives. I noticed it now. Surprised AMW doesn't update their official Facebook page when they add fugitives. If they update for new captures, they can update for new fugitives as well.

Another fugitive I'm somewhat surprised was never captured was a Playing Cards felon named Leroy Angelo "Gangsta" Ray. All I know about his case was that he was a drug trafficker who simply walked away from his prison work detail (there were no walls or fences). He was aired back in the 90s. He was from the Caribbean I believe but judging by his minor prison placement that he wouldn't have had much support or authority in organized crime to stay on the run this long.
Interpol had a Red Notice for him put on their website but they appear to have deleted it in the past say one or two years. Judging that he's been wanted since presumably the early-mid 90s I really doubt he was captured.

Definitely Yasir Said. Saw that photo of his daughters. One of the most heartbreaking cases ever profiled on AMW.
