On Nov 3, 1996, Rudolph Ruiz arrived in Amarillo, Texas to stay with his friend, Rafael Galindo. Video footage confirms that Rafael purchased a gas can, matches and gasoline. Authorities do not have a motive why, but they say that on Nov 5, Rafael doused Rudolph in gasoline, and set him on fire while he was alive and in a motel room. Rudolph was still alive when firefighters found him but he died several hours later in a hospital. Rafael never showed up for his job and was not seen at his parents home, and there have been no sightings of him since. --- Thoughts? Rafael was a fugitive I found on an archived law enforcement website, but pretty much confirmed his still active warrant from the 2011 article. Any fugitive wanted for murder scares me, but someone who could kill their own friend in such an agonizing way for no apparent reason is a major threat to those around him today. Investigators say Rafael possibly fled to Mexico and since there hasn't been any sightings of him in the past 20 years, I feel he's likely still in Mexico. Based on wanted location, our advice for anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Rafael Galindo, then contact Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.

If authorities don't have a motive, then what's scary here is that Mr. Galindo has a rather unpredictable nature and that's why it's important to locate him.
