I am much more confident in Spain arresting and extraditing Walter Yovany-Gomez compared to his native Honduras, so if he fled internationally, hopefully Walter didn't go back to Honduras.

Well the FBI twitter page said they are seeking information on his whereabouts... the murder he committed was horrific and in all honesty he's a likely long timer candidate for the list. Now as Gomez is a native of Honduras he may have went back, but all the violence that's going on there is probably what he wants to avoid so Spain would be likely. Also he may be in Maryland as he can hide among other gang members, even in Northern Virginia so keep in mind that this is there hot bed as well.

You are certainly correct that Honduras has serious organized crime issues as well as general violence. Since Walter is a MS-13 gang member however, it would make sense that he would go to a high-crime area to continue his gang activity.

Walter Yovany-Gomez is now the FBI's case of the week after the capture of Marlon Jones. i wonder if the FBI has any new tips as to his whereabouts or just wanted to put his face out there this week.

I really have no idea about the decision making for the FBI's case of the week. Sometimes I feel there is a reason, and other times it's completely random.
That being said this was a brutal murder and complete overkill, even for a rival gang member, so hopefully it helps lead to tips.

He is very fitting for Case of the week IMO, he is as horrific as they get on the CEI fugitives section of the FBI site. Again I hope that he is in Spain or even the DC area for that matter because he'll be a quick capture.

I'm glad Gomez is on the FBI Top Ten, but I'm problem is that he's a native of Honduras.

I'm just glad they added someone. And Flores is from Honduras too and also on the list. Who knows though, he's a native of Honduras, but it doesn't necessarily mean he fled there.

They said in the press release he may be in Northern Virginia or Maryland and I'm sure as hell to keep my eyes peeled now.

The last time anyone saw Gomez was on June 13, 2011 in Maryland, just to let everyone know where the case went cold.

Walter Yovany-Gomez is actually the third MS-13 gang member added to the FBI's Most Wanted List in this decade. Edwin Rivera Gracias and Juan Elias Garcia were also members. The good news that both of those fugitives did not last even a month on the list before they were captured.

The good news that both of those fugitives did not last even a month on the list before they were captured. That's a good point they both didn't even last 2 weeks at least and ended up Surrendering, however according to the press release they don't think he's fled the country

After seeing his FBI poster, the whole Spain part was completely dropped from his Ten Most Wanted poster for some reason.
