Recently, I have a new subscription to a newspaper archiving website which has an extremely detailed directory of newspaper articles. And one thing they do well is mention TV Guide listings and general news updates for America's Most Wanted, including a case synopsis for individual episodes. So here is the first month of 1991's episode guide. Please note that all the cases on these episodes are probably not listed from these reports and I am missing some, and I'm also not sure as to who some of these fugitives are. Also, because of the subscription to the newspaper website, I can not directly link to the newspaper articles so take my word that these are legit mentions. Jan 4, 1991 - Convicted Florida murderer escapes in a box - Philadelphia man wanted on four counts of aggravated assault (This sounds like Michael Fitzgerald, he became Direct Capture #135 five days after this episode aired). - Oklahoma man murders a hitchhiker (Teddy Ellis) I believe according to an online commercial piece I saw from 1991, that this was an episode focusing on a fugitives who were teenagers when they committed their crimes.Jan 11, 1991 - Three men all wanted for brutal murders of their girlfriends. - The Virginia fugitive was wanted for murder, the Connecticut fugitive was wanted for murder and attempted murder, the Massachusetts fugitive was a prison escapee convicted of three assaults. Jan 18, 1991 - Former police chief wanted for a friend’s murder, New York City gang member and a World War II hero are wanted in separate murder cases (The world war II hero was longtime AMW fugitive Carl Daub, who was discovered deceased around 2001).. Jan 25, 1991 - Florida escapee convicted of second-degree murders flees Canadian jail. - New York cab driver is wanted for the murders of two women. (Loretto Villar) - Parolee and sex offender, convicted of a child’s murder.

And here's what I could gather from February 1991.
Feb 01, 1991 - Special episode from Capitol Hill. - S&L Maryland Executive who allegedly stole $22 million in bank funds in a racketeering case. - Two organized crime figures wanted for a New York union kickback scheme. - Ex-con who is wanted for the 1990 slaying of his pregnant roommate and her unborn child. (Joaquin Amelo-Brito)
Feb 08, 1991 - Special episode from San Diego - A fugitive convicted of five murders (Carl Alfred Eder) - Palm springs native wanted for his wife’s murder at a birthday party and for shooting other people there, possibly resulting in one more homicide. - San Diego fugitive wanted for a drug-related kidnapping and murder (Vincent Walters) - Interview with a convicted serial killer - A look at a San Diego task force investigating a bizarre serial-murder case.
Feb 15, 1991 - An episode focused on criminals who posed as law enforcement agents. - Washington D.C. rapist who posed as a detective. (James Thompson) - Con artist who posed as an immigration agent. (Raul Alakaii) - Boston museum art thieves who posed as police officers. (The Gardner Museum Heist)
Feb 22, 1991 - A tour of the FBI’s training academy - The FBI Top Ten fugitive list

And there's the guide from March of 1991. Mar 1, 1991 - Missouri man who killed his wife of 24 years when he found out she was unfaithful (Possibly Robert Faye Adams) - Palm Springs man accused of killing his wife despite her having a restraining order against him. - Third profile for longtime AMW fugitive Joe Sinnott Edwards - Missing child alert for 16-month old Rigoberto Hernandez, who disappeared Feb 23 while playing in his grandparent’s Florida yard. The following week, his body was found in a skeptic tank. Mar 8, 1991 - A convicted Detroit robber and killer nicknamed “a murdering machine” by the media. (Probably John Cornelius Jenkins) - Three Eugene, Oregon con-men wanted for fraud. (Edward & William Dunn, along with Gordon Mackie) Mar 15, 1991 - Two federally indicted organized crime figures who accepted nearly $3 million in kickbacks from a union official. - Mob attorneys who help legalize shady dealings. - The unidentified, mutilated remains of a young woman were found on Feb 23 in Dane County, Wisconsin. Investigators were looking into whether they were those of 1989 missing California girl Ilene Misheloff. Mar 22, 1991 - A West Virginia trucker convicted of sexually assaulting his wife and helping two accomplices repeat the act. (Charles Daniel O'Donnell, AMW made him a direct capture the following day) - A Nebraska mother convicted of killing her infant. (Henrietta Ganote) There was also supposed to be an episode for March 29 but for whatever reason, I am pretty certain it was moved to April 19 (which I will mention the episode in my next post here).

I think Leroy Meyers or Leroy Myers may be Serial Rapist from Alabama or Former Honor Student wanted for Drug Possession and Sexual Assault
