Just wanted to express my condolences to anyone affected by the shooting at the Pulse Club in Orlando last night that killed 20 known people so far. This was a day after a contestant on "The Voice" was shot and killed in Orlando after a concert.
I don't know what the motivations are in this case except to say this has to stop. I feel like every 2 months I'm going to post something like this and nothing will be done. This isn't a statement on guns or mental health. It's a statement on what I feel is our sad apathy and numbness as a result of how many times these events have happened in basically the last decade. We as a society can no longer accept this and we must stand up and speak out. No matter what we think the solution is. Let's work together to stop the violence.

Well there's a news conference playing currently on Fox News and they said unfortunately there are as many as 49 killed and 53 injured.
This happened at an LGBT night club and this has now considered a terrorist attack by Fox News but I'm going to take it with a grain of salt.
Sad day in Orlando for sure and the casualty number is too much but in this situation it's up there and I honestly feel fed up with these shootings and terrorist attacks and I am with you and agree with you big time in working together to stop the violence because this is unacceptable for it to happen every few weeks or so, acts of hate, acts of violence, acts of terrorism are the problem.

This catastrophic massacre is being investigated as a domestic terrorism incident according to CNN as well. The shooter, who I will not mention his name since he probably wanted the notority was born in the US but his parents were possibly from Afghanistan. Not generalizing everyone of Middle Eastern descent like this terrorist of course as I never try to do that but it has to be investigated if this was an ISIS-inspired or even assisted attack.

Worse, people like Georgia Representative Rick W Allen are coming out of the woodwork and spouting their fantasies of killing all LGBTs. In the comments section of another article, one commenter threatened to put a bullet in the head of any of his family members who turned out LGBT, just to purge society of "sin". These people have made no secret about their aggressive rage stemming from sectarian extremism. We still have too many highly dangerous individuals with Final Solutions who see LGBTs as festering swine to be exterminated. I can even name a lot of people with the Final Solution as their top goal in life, including Matthew Gregory McLaughlin of Huntington Beach, CA, Steven Lee Anderson of Tempe, Arizona, "pastor" Kevin Swanson, and Scott Lively of Massachusetts. Fuhrerian attitudes like theirs have permeated our society and created a hideously violent emotional atmosphere where victims who've already suffered discrimination get slaughtered by creeps who see their victims as rotten monsters rather than human beings. I believe a lot more has to be done to protect our society and the innocent people at such heightened risk from those bloodthirsty criminals who've voiced their homicidal mania.
