Raymond (Butch) E. Weed
Murdered : Dec 23, 2003 between 5:00 and 7:00 in the evening
Reward: $25,000.00
Race: white male 40 years old.
Brown curly hair, bright blue eyes, large frame 200-210 lbs.
Murderer: unknown
Place: Main St., Wilton Maine
Butch was shot twice while he sat at his desk in his office/entryway.
Normal work clothes were worn
Witness: unknown
Raymond Weed
Butch was a single male that had been meeting women over the internet. He was looking to start a family. He was a general contractor of his own business, New Horizon Builders. He was sitting at his desk in his office/entryway when he was shot. He was still sitting which would bring us to believe he knew the murderer or he did not feel threatened at the time of the shot. Another alternative is that the murderer entered quickly, or through a partially opened door, taking Butch by surprise. He had the personality that would not have let him sit there and be shot without a fight. Close friends of Butch's found him at approximately 7:00 pm, he was slumped over in his chair, where he had been shot.
