A man accused of setting his ex-girlfriend on fire Wednesday is now the most wanted man by the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said Mervin Woodard doused his ex-girlfriend with gasoline and set her on fire. Woodard also stole her car.
Woodard’s girlfriend, whose name has not been released, was taken to the Grady Memorial Hospital. Her condition is not known.
Woodard is considered armed and dangerous, officials say. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Fugitive Squad at 770-477-4479.
