"Jerry Wayne ADAWAY is a violent sex offender required to register every three months for life. He has ties to Houston and also to the New Orleans, Louisiana area. He has a history of arrests for sexual offenses, robbery, drugs, and fraud.
In 1982, ADAWAY was convicted in Harris County of Rape for an incident involving a 16-year-old female. He allegedly threatened the victim with a knife. In 2007, he was convicted in Travis County of Sexual Assault of a Child for an incident involving another 16-year-old female. He subsequently was sentenced to five years in TDCJ prison.
On April 22, 2015, the 208th District Court of Harris County, Texas, issued a warrant for ADAWAY's arrest for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.
ADAWAY is known to use false/fraudulent identification. He may be wearing glasses.
