In August of 2006, he was charged in the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento, with lewd and lascivious act with a child under 14 years of age, oral copulation with a child under 14 years of age, photographing a minor during a sex act, and possession of a concealed firearm. I see nothing to indicate he's been captured so it was probably to make room for newer fugitives.
Sometimes fugitives return to the website eventually as well, often years later. (Hopefully it won't take that long, been long enough already, just based on the website history).

Oddly enough but Jorge Martinez, Jr. is once again back on the site after being removed in the summer/fall of 2016, he was added today. Honestly this is a great thing that has happened and I hope other fugitives like Lisbio Couto get added once again to the site.
Btw this part got me “On February 2, 2018, Martinez was charged in the United States District Court, Eastern District of California, Sacramento, California, with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution and a warrant was issued for his arrest”, did they reissue a warrant for his arrest?
Also since he’s back on the site, I once again consider him a Top Ten Contender.

Oh that's weird. I guess perhaps the previous UFAP warrant expired? and a new one was reissued.
In any case, since 2006 was when he was first locally charged, I'm keeping that as the year for the thread title.

Perhaps they wanted to bring the case back to the spotlight and renewed since it basically spent all of 2017 off the FBI site and wanted federal investigators to keep going on this case. Either way the FBI listened to my wishes of adding some of their old cases like this one, and even Shawn Weatherhead. |
