Wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Santa Cruz Police Department for Murder
Ivan Tapia Ramirez, age 26, is wanted in Santa Cruz, CA, for the 2009 slaying of Tyler Tenorio, as well as participation in a criminal street gang.
Tenorio, who was 16 years old at the time of his death, was killed during a fight on Oct. 16, 2009. According to prosecutors, Tenorio and three friends jumped out of a car near Laurel and Chestnut streets in Santa Cruz, CA, to fight two men on the street. More men then arrived from a nearby apartment complex to challenge them. Tenorio was stabbed 17 times and left to die on the street.
Several suspects have been arrested in connection with the death of Tenorio. However, Tapia Ramirez remains at large.
Tapia Ramirez is a known gang member and should be treated with extreme caution.

Thoughts? According to reports there is a second suspect in the case named Paulo Luna, who after I checked Santa Cruz's warrants site is apparently still at large.
