Gender: Male Race: Hispanic Age: 58 (Approximate as of 2016) Height: 5'9 Weight: 150 lbs Hair: Black Eyes: Brown LA MARQUE, Texas - An illegal immigrant initially wanted for questioning in an apparent domestic killing remains at large, but a murder warrant was issued for his arrest, authorities said Thursday. Bond for Moises Perez Alvarez, 51 (as of 2009), was set at $250,000 on a murder charge. The charge stems from the Monday discovery of his former girlfriend, Faith Worthy Guillory, 45, who was found shot to death in a sport utility vehicle, La Marque interim Police Chief Kirk Jackson said. Alvarez, who also is known by the name Adrain Delierro, is not a legal U.S. resident, Jackson said. His whereabouts were unknown Thursday, and he was last seen Tuesday morning in the 4700 block of state Highway 6 in Hitchcock, Jackson said. "He was dropped off by the train tracks in Hitchcock," Jackson said. "He might be trying to take a train back to Mexico." Police accused Alvarez of shooting Guillory, of San Leon, once in the head. Relatives of Alvarez found Guillory in a 2004 Chevrolet Blazer in the parking lot of an unnamed apartment complex at 1215 Spruce St. in La Marque, Jackson said. Alvarez resided there, Jackson said. Alvarez was thought to be in possession of a .380-caliber pistol, Jackson said. Investigators suspect Guillory's wound was caused by a .380-caliber pistol, Jackson said. Alvarez also has a warrant for his arrest on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender, which carries an $80,000 bond Jackson said. The charge stems from the 1993 aggravated sexual assault of a girl, 11, Jackson said. Alvarez pleaded guilty to sexual assault and received a two-year sentence in August 2005, public records reveal. Alvarez is listed as a sex offender on the Texas Department of Public Safety's Web site with an address listed out of country as a result of deportation. The U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement is involved in the case. Jackson asked anyone with information to call La Marque Crime Stoppers at 409-938-8477 or La Marque Detective Geoff Price at 409-938-9269.

The only way I was able to obtain a photo of Moises Alvarez was through the Texas Sex Offender public search listing where I found a 2006 mugshot photo. That same page indicated that Moises had a reoffense risk level of low which is ironic since he's now wanted for murder. The online Galveston County warrants search page still lists Moises as being wanted as well. Moises is a really dangerous fugitive, not only with him being a threat to children everywhere but everyone else as well since he is willing to commit murder, so we really need to take him down. legacy.khou.com/story/news/local/2014/07/11/11217912/p2c.co.galveston.tx.us/wantedlist.aspx

Well his last known alleged offense was murder and not sexual assault so they were right. (That was sarcasm before anyone gets nuts).
Although in all honesty I can't entirely fault the risk assessment, it's hard to know for sure, but the whole process of tiers in itself is strange me, unless it was an 19-year old having consensual sex with a 16-year old or something like that, I consider anyone who harms and/or sexually touches children to be taken as a serious thread regardless of their "level" as most of these guys don't stop. Level I, II, III doesn't always matter to me (ok, level III sort of does but they're all scumbags). They all need to be taken seriously.
In any case, hopefully he's caught soon, since after reading this, I find it a severely underrated case as far as not seeing much publicity about it.

Perez Alvarez's case was among the most disturbing on the site, right up there with Robert Wayne Fisher whom AMW busted as Capture #16, and Hiers Jr, whom AMW had profiled over a dozen times since '005. I'm glad to know he's been in custody since last summer. Even if the news might be half a year late, that makes for an additional half year he hasn't had the opportunity to murder any more women or rape any more girls.
