On May 17, 2012, a female victim, who is mentally challenged, was allegedly lured by Ali to a hotel room in Grand Island, Nebraska, where she was sodomized against her will. On May 31, 2013, after a jury trial, Ali was convicted of first degree sexual assault in the Grand Island, Hall County Nebraska District Court. Ali was scheduled to appear for sentencing on July 18, 2013, but failed to do so. Aside from agreeing that Lencho Ahmed Ali is amongst the worst of the worst, I should point out that he is listed as a "seeking information" case on the FBI website and not as a featured fugitive case. Kinda curious for the reasoning behind that. Also in case Lencho fled back to South Africa, hopefully the US has a decent extradition policy for citizens in South Africa.

Now I know I said that Tyrone Smith is a likely contender from the "seeking information" section and he does seem more likely than Smith to make the Ten most wanted list because of this crime, he prayed on someone that was vulnerable and he should be placed for that reason.
Also the reason why he may be a seeking information fugitive is because it's only a bench warrant and in order for him to be a featured fugitive or Top ten fugitive a Federal Warrant needs to be issued unless I may be wrong.

Thanks HeadMarshal , Lencho Ahmed Ali only has a bench warrant and so does Tyrone Smith, so to me it's an indication that a Federal Warrant has yet to be issued and those take time to get issued, maybe it'll be years before Ali is charged with UFAP (Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution). From there i truly see this guy potentially being a top ten fugitive in order to flush him our quicker. |
