We are all aware that the various versions of amw.com since the first site was established in 1996 featured the cases on the show and also cases that never made the show but still resulted in great captures. Currently The Hunt's website only gets frequently updated one part of each year when the show airs. The website is still even mentioning they accept tips for Paul Jackson and Megan Everett even though the show led to both of their captures.
What I would hope is for The Hunt to post about other fugitive cases like the 1998-2004 version of amw.com did. A section by state to give other case profiles while the show is not being aired to increase the chances of captures year round. Not nearly as many cases as the main amw.com site we're most familiar with, since that site eventually had too many cases and lack of updates for fugitives that had been captured.
Would anyone else be pleased if The Hunt's producers did this?

Well, The Hunt did plan on having breaking news New York prison escapees Richard Matt and David Sweat on their website despite obviously not planning to profile them. (Granted John Walsh said he would have profiled them had they remained on the run, how that would have happened is beyond me since The Hunt unlike AMW is a pre-taped months as opposed to days/weeks in advance show- unless it would have been a special edition or inserted into the season 2 preview)
Anyway, I think the problem is The Hunt might not have space since they're currently just on CNN's website, they would need to have their own domain to profile more cases outside of the show.
Of course I'd be pleased if they did this, but I think they really don't have space/room at the moment.
