CAUTION
Arturo Robles is being sought for escaping from a detention facility in the San Diego, California, area. On January 24, 1990, Robles was convicted of child molestation and awaiting transfer, from a detention facility to a department of corrections, to serve his sentence. On January 31, 1990, Robles and two other inmates were caught while allegedly attempting to escape from the detention facility. While in custody and awaiting trial for the alleged escape attempt, on April 3, 1990, Robles successfully escaped with seven other inmates from the detention facility in San Diego. His whereabouts remain unknown.
On April 15, 2003, a federal arrest warrant for Arturo Robles was issued in the Southern District of California, charging Robles with unlawful flight to avoid confinement.

Thoughts? Arturo Robles was another cold case fugitive I found on an archived law enforcement website. In this case, I verified his warrant as being active on the San Diego County warrants search page. With his health problems, he may not be still alive after 26 years on the run, but as serious as high blood pressure is, there are worse medical conditions we've seen fugitives have while on the run. If he is still alive, then sadly he's most likely sexually abused more children after all these years as a free man.
