Thoughts? Honestly, Nunez-Godinez was not on my case schedule for this upcoming week but after HeadMarshal posted about a cold case fugitive from Florida named Henry Godinez it reminded me of this case that I always meant to profile so I added it today. In any case, there is nothing in any articles about a motive. They were roommates, so perhaps they got into an argument or had some type of disagreement but I don't want to speculate beyond that. All I know is no one deserves to die in the brutal manner in which Chang-Ho Jung was murdered.

Does anyone know if the US has an extradition treaty with Nicaragua that would cover fugitives wanted for murder. I only hope that Nicaragua is not another Honduras.

I guess the answer is unfortunately it sort of is Honduras and according to one article, the U.S. and Nicaragua have not always been the best of friends. They did send Eric Toth back to us, but he was a FBI top tenner and an American who was there illegally. When it comes to Nunez-Godinez I guess the answer is it depends and we'd just have to hold our breath and hope. blogs.findlaw.com/blotter/2013/06/5-countries-with-no-us-extradition-treaty.html

A couple of notes from the episode in that Nunez-Godinez left a note that said "I don't like you and will take pleasure in killing you" but that the real motive and/or another motive for killing Chang-Ho may have been because he was attempting to cash a check of his before leaving the area after quitting his job at the restaurant and needing money.
Let's hope The Hunt can put pressure on Nicaraguan authorities if Nunez-Godinez is indeed hiding out there.

Having missed all the '017 The Hunt broadcasts except the Still Running '017 and Dino Albert Curcio profile, I have some questions to anyone who can remember Nunez-Godinez's profile on The Hunt: What did the episode, including the police, witness, and family members' interviews say about the city this happened in, and did they talk much about the apartment complex?

In the future, I'd private message if you have a question about a recent non-Pursuit tv fugitive right before an In Pursuit airing is about to happen as to not distract from those cases, but I believe the airing tip-wise mainly talked about his probably flight to Nicaragua. If I recall correctly, it was relatively short.
