I'm not directly criticizing the FBI since they took the time to publish Jose Rojo-Rivera to their international website, but usually they put a bit more detailed information on their fugitive posters. Google searching the name Jose Rojo-Rivera unfortunately doesn't come up with any media articles on the 2006 murder.

As of July 16th, 2018, Rojo-Rivera is still listed as a wanted fugitive on the FBI's website. (Same link as in the OP)

I have some additional information from the UFAP documents in PACER.
First of all, the name of the victim in this case is Gerardo Jiminez.
Second, Jose was believed in 2006 to have fled to a rural area in Mexico. It was not specified in what part of the country, but that might explain why Jose has successfully evaded capture for nearly 15 years.
Third, there were a few relatives that were arrested for helping Jose flee to Mexico. As a result, they were charged with accessory to murder.
