Eyes: Blue Hair: Brown Last Known Address: 14155 S. Beavercreek Rd., #302, Oregon City, OR Details: On 6-14-00, Jimmy Julius Karow was indicted by a Clackamas County Grand Jury on charges on two counts of Sexual Abuse I -- from a case involving a 9-year-old female victim. A warrant for his arrest was issued on 7-7-00. Subsequent checks at Mr. Karow's address indicated that he had moved to an unknown location. --- Thoughts? Aside from the Clackamas County Sheriff website posting, there's nothing else to work with in the manhunt for Jimmy Karow. Since he's been on the run for 16 years and because child molesters don't quit their criminal behaviour, he's probably abused more children by now which of course would be very sad. That's why we need to revive this cold-case manhunt, and help to take Jimmy down. I think it's sometimes to hard to go into detail on child molestation cases because of the sensitive nature of the case and many parents are not going to want to go public with exactly what happened.
This would have been a perfect case for a 15 seconds of shame or commercial break case on AMW since those segments were set up for bad guys/girls without much detail on the case.

I found a 2014 Interpol Red Notice for Jimmy Karow. In it they mention that although he was born in California, he has both US and Israeli nationality. So Israel may be where he's currently hiding out. www.interpol.int/notice/search/wanted/2014-31584 |

Clackamas County has a new online most wanted list with mostly more recent fugitives. However, as of 7/5/2018, he still has a warrant for at the very least failing to register as a sex offender, according to Oregon's online criminal court records. webportal.courts.oregon.gov/portal/Home/WorkspaceMode?p=0Additionally, he is still on Interpol's website as a wanted fugitive as of 7/5/2018 (Same link as in HeadMarshal's previous reply). |
