From haltomcitytx.com:
On Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 2348 hours, officers were dispatched to a residence at 2129 Haltom Road to assist on a medical call. Upon arrival, they observed a 2 year old male, Lyfe Flores, with significant burns to his body. The child was in the care of his grandmother and legal guardian, Patricia Flores, when the injuries occurred. In the early hours of Thursday, March 24, 2016, Patricia said Lyfe was injured when he was left alone in the bathroom with the water running in the bathtub. Patricia waited six days to seek medical treatment for Lyfe’s injuries, until he became unresponsive on March 30, 2016.
Lyfe was transported to Cook’s Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth due to the severity of his burns. Lyfe was later taken to the burn unit at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. On April 4, 2016 at around 0500 hours, Lyfe succumbed to his injuries. The lack of medical treatment for the severe burns lead to an infection, which may have contributed to his death. An autopsy was conducted by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office beginning April 6, 2016. At this time, the Medical Examiner’s office has not determined the cause of death.
On April 7 an arrest warrant was issued for Patricia Flores for Injury to a Child Serious Bodily Injury/Omission with a $75,000 bond. A PDF file containing all this information can be downloaded here.
We have been unable to locate Patricia, and believe she may be in the San Antonio area. We are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Patricia. Attached is a photograph of 43 year old Patricia Annette Flores (5’0,” 180 pounds, brown hair, hazel eyes). Any information on the whereabouts of Patricia should be directed to Corporal Miller, the lead investigator, at 817-222-7027.

Thoughts? I learned of this case from a Facebook group that posts about wanted fugitives and felt I had to add this to our site right away for obvious reason.
