In early 2009, Fernando went into the bedroom of a little girl in Provo, Utah, grabbed her by her hair and raped her. A few months later, Fernando and the girl were in a car and he raped her again. She went forward to local authorities in 2013 about the crimes committed against her and a warrant was issued for Fernando Cortez-Baez. Fernando fled from the child rape charges and for numerous drug-related charges under different aliases, including Daniel Ortega and Ricardo Valdez-Munoz.

Thoughts? Regardless of whether Fernando is hiding out in Latin America or not, his numerous aliases may make him more difficult to locate. Also his drug charges might indicate that he could have ties to major drug trafficking organizations, or he could have just been a local drug dealer while living in Utah. We need to capture Fernando before he harms anymore children.
