For the time being have changed the Facebook fan page to "The Hunt/In Pursuit with John Walsh Fans" although as you guys know as I discussed before I haven't ultimately decided whether or not to keep our site presence on social media.
(You guys are great but even though social media increases our site views it's a bunch of annoying quasi-fans where even if you post something like "urgent, 4-year-old girl abducted by suspected serial killer, please share" the very FIRST response will be "when is AMW coming back? I don't like The Hunt." For this reason I am leaning towards deactivation but am giving it a trial run to see how much people annoy or dont annoy me when we get closer to In Pursuit season).

Alright as mentioned I took our main presence off of Facebook. The only reason I had a Facebook page on The Hunt was I not satisfied with coverage of the show on social media- it was limited to John Walsh's or CNN's posts and there were no decently updated Facebook pages for The Hunt otherwise on when fugitives would get captured, updates on leads and/or there was inaccurate information about the show etc... Unfortunately it became more trouble than it was worth as aside from what I mentioned above I also had a bunch of people messaging me thinking I was John Walsh despite my numerous disclaimers and "unofficial not actual show" being in the thread title and then those same people getting mad at me after explaining I was not John Walsh but was still willing to help them. Like it was my fault they couldn't read the 7 zillion disclaimers. Anyway, thankfully In Pursuit having it's own Facebook page finally gave me an excuse to take that page off Facebook. However, just in case I did create a generic fan page for our overall website which I don't really plan on using at the moment just in case any of you ever need/want to contact me on Facebook.
