(Above photo credit: Bay Area Crime Stoppers) From Bay Area Crime Stoppers website: On February 10, 2012, at about 10:06 pm, Michael Dejaun Jones was fatally shot by an unknown suspect as he walked from his car into a friend’s house on Devonshire Ct in Pleasant Hill. Several people were seen leaving the area in a blue Saturn Vue immediately following the shooting. PHPD Investigators are still conducting interviews, following up on possible leads, and analyzing evidence in this case. The Pleasant Hill Police Department and Bay Area Crime Stoppers are offering a reward of $5,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, or suspects, involved in this murder. Anyone with information on this case is asked to Crime Stoppers at 1(800)222-TIPS(8477) or text BAYTIP with your information to CRIMES(274637). There no longer appears to be a Bay Area Crime Stoppers website. However, I'm assuming that the search for Michael's killer is still unsolved as of this posting date (4/8/2018), since I've seen no articles stating otherwise.
