"The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide that occurred on Old Dixie Highway in Titusville, Florida. At approximately 7:00 a.m. on May 19, 2006 a white male was found deceased on the east side of the roadway in the 1400 block of Old Dixie Highway by two males on their way to work. Investigation determined that the victim died as the result of a homicide from trauma observed on the body. The trauma appears to be a gunshot wound. It is believed at this time that the victim was killed sometime after midnight.
The victim has been identified as Mark Anthony Stewart, white male, date of birth 8/21/83, with a residence of 1180 Titus Avenue, Titusville, Florida."
