From The Charley Project:
"Edward disappeared from Hubbard, Ohio on August 12, 2007. He was abducted by his non-custodial mother, Kyong-Mi Lee. A photograph and vital statistics for Lee are posted below this case summary. A felony warrant for international parental kidnapping was issued for her on August 15, 2007. Edward and Lee may be in South Korea. The child's whereabouts are unknown and his case remains unsolved."
Thoughts? Thankfully this is South Korea and not North Korea, however, I have to wonder how photos of Edward three and five years after his abduction were found. This indicates to me Kyong-Mi Lee isn't exactly hiding him in plan sight and this is yet another case that highlights the difficulties of international child abductions.
