MARINERS HARBOR, Staten Island — The NYPD is offering $2,500 for information on a suspect wanted in a shooting that killed a mother and son outside a public housing complex in Staten Island.
Police have identified Anthony Morales, 49, as the suspect. They say he may be driving a black 2013 Hyundai Elantra with Pennsylvania plate number JWM6448.
Morales lived in the same building as the victims. Police say he is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 200 pounds and was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, tan cargo pants and black shoes.
At around 6:11 p.m. Thursday, police found Idelle Rivera, 47, and her son, Anthony Rivera, 21, both shot in the head. They were both pronounced dead Thursday night.
A 22-year-old man was also found shot in the left leg. He is in critical but stable condition at the hospital, police said.

Thoughts? Additional information. At least 15 shots were fired. The third victim (who survived) was a 22-year old friend who repaired cars with Anthony Rivera and was working on a vehicle at the time he was shot in the leg. The apparent motive may be- get this- over a car.
