From wibw.com:
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)- The search for a Mayetta woman, missing more than three months, is continuing in Jackson County.
Joan Rebar, 70, went missing Sept. 25. She was last seen in the Meridan area, possibly heading to the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says that a multi-jurisdictional task force of local and state agencies has been assembled to find the missing woman. Morse says that numerous individuals have been interviewed in the missing person’s case, but there are no new updates.
Morse says that hundreds of hours have been spent searching for Rebar by land, air and water. On Nov. 4 more than 100 volunteers combed the Jackson County landscape looking for signs of Rebar. In late October Mike Raymond NorthLand Sky-Cam took brought his drone from Platte City, Missouri to Jackson County to look for signs of Rebar’s vehicle from the sky. Nothing turned up the search in either search.
Rebar is described as a Native American woman, 5’6”, 230 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Her missing vehicle is described as a 2005 silver Chrysler Pacifica with disabled tags 71664.
Anyone with information about her disappearance is asked to contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s office at 785-364-2251.
