Leonardo Cisneros is wanted for the murder of Dr. Louis Davidson back in 1994.
Cisneros was having an affair with Davidson's wife, Denise. Denise and Louis were estranged at the time, but Denise could not continue her affair with Cisneros, due to the fact he was wanted for drug charges. Eventually, Denise and Cisneros got together and planned Louis' murder.
Louis opened his door one day and was surprised to see two men, who ambushed him. Someone later entered his home to find him in the bathroom, hog-tied and gagged. Police say he had been beaten and then drowned.
Police questioned Denise, with Cisneros hiding in the closet, waiting for them to leave. Eventually, police were able to recover a foot print from the murder scene and link it to one of the killers. They also followed a paper trail, showing Denise paying two men, presumably for the hit. Police arrested Denise, who was sentenced to life w/o parole, and the two killers, who are on death row. Cisneros, however, was able to escape.
My first guess would be that he's still in Jamaica. And even though fugitives have been caught there before, the fact that he's been on the run this long makes me wonder if he's still there today, or if he traveled somewhere else. I could see him blending in Mexico.
