I'm shocked by Godwin's removal not only because of the violence of his crimes and his history but the logic used in doing so. If publicity was a reason to remove him, why did they add William Bishop after all this time? My guess is they simply have no idea where he's at and got tired of him wasting a spot on there when newer cases can be added. Based on results we've seen so far with two captures in two months, that theory seems to be paying off somewhat.

Well Godwin has been on the list 20 years and tips haven't really been coming in on him according to articles.
Bishop on the other hand is a more recent addition and tips come in on him a lot, the reason why he was added was because the publicity of the list would help in this case today then it would have back in 1976.

Okay so a slot is finally open thanks to the Capture of Philip Policarpio, I've thought up another batch of candidates for the list and I went all in.
Patel hopefully gets added this time around, unless we see a more recent fugitive land on the site.
The FBI may shake things up and finally add the first CAC fugitive under director Comey, but we'll see..
Here are my candidates for the 509th spot (wow can't believe it)
Murders:
•Bhadreshkumar Patel
•Gustavo Ubaldo Soria
•Napoleon Eduardo Castro
•Joe Matthew Constance
•Alejandro Sanchez
Violent crimes:
•Ashley Montalvo or Ulises Felix
•Ger Chang
•David Durham
•Steven Eugene Clifford
Crimes against Children:
•Domingo Maye
•Leprinceton Dewon Burks
•Juan Paulino-Cantero
•William Lee Copp
•John J. Hartin
•Gregory Whitehead
Criminal Enterprise fugitives:
•Mekahale I. Lamb
Wild cards:
•Adam C. Emery
•John or Julieanne Dimitrion
•Kevin Lamont Carter
•Shadia Muse
•Edward Lee Leblanc
Any thoughts??

Not much to add except to say the FBI seems to skew more recent so expect more recent lately. Good list!

Thanks . Well Patel and Burks seem obvious to me that will be added as they are more recent, but let's see what the site gives us in the next couple weeks.

Also not excusing it but I sincerely doubt Mekahale Lamb gets added to the list. The FBI seems to have shied away from drug fugitives on the list unlike the past. A drug trafficking fugitive would also have to have murders associated with him to be considered imo.

I doubt he'd get on too but since he seems like a recent prison escapee I figured he'd be a good candidate to be added.

Well if Eric Toth can be added I guess he could be.
I'll add a thread on him tomorrow.

Well here's some suggestions as to where I think the list would go from here:
The first scenario is the FBI may add Eric Michael Schuster to the top 10 list making him the first CAC fugitive under director Comey and it makes sense adding him since he's a more recent fugitive which seems possible and likely to happen.
The other is that director Comey will stick to violent offenders/Murderers and add Bhadreshkumar Patel.
Now I say Patel because he's the most recent murder suspect on the site and also the fact that he would be a good replacement for Philip Policarpio since they both killed their girlfriend/wife, so perhaps the FBI may want to pursue those fugitives thanks to the success of Policarpio's capture.
But again don't take it from me, they're just suggestions and I may be wrong.

I'm just going to sit back and wait for whatever to happen.
Basically the trend lately is recent and violent. (Of course they've always had a history of violence but the decades had different types of violence such as the 70's with domestic terrorism or after that with some drug trafficking cases- I'd describe the trend lately as more domesticated (non-terrorism related) violent incidents).

I totally agree there have been 7 fugitives added during Comey's watch as director and all are either known gang members like Juan Elias Garcia & Luis Macedo, long time, long sought, well known fugitives like Brad Bishop and Yaser Said and convicted felons like Myloh Mason, Brenda Delgado (don't know, since I saw she was arrested for questioning or traffic violations) and Philip Policarpio.
So perhaps yes the violent and recent trend will continue unless Patel counts as recent since he's been at large 14 months?
But yes it's best to sit back since the FBI tends to add someone deserving when we aren't focused to much LOL.
