Theoretically David Soto or David Calhoun Jr. could be added I guess but neither case is currently on the FBI's website. More than half of the fugitives added in the past few years were previously on the website.

Terry Strickland or perhaps Thomas Brewer could be the next recent case to be added on the current FBI site.

P.S. record holder Victor Gerena has been removed, which means every Top Tenner moves up, making Robert Fisher the fugitive who has been on the list longer than anyone else on the current line up.

Gerena is moderately surprising because they removed Glen Godwin before him, who in my opinion was much more dangerous. It seemed like they were going to keep him on the list because of the thaw in relations in Cuba.
Not to get political but I do wonder if a Republican administration coming in might have contributed to Gerena's removal. There has already been indications they may want to reverse the thaw. I'm not saying that's good or bad (trying to improve relations is worth a shot after basically 60 plus years and no more Fidel, but don't let the country take advantage of us either), just that it's a possible reason.

I'm not in shock he was removed in a way but also I am. However the list has changed now with Gerena's removal

I'm even more ok with Van Wisse's addition now that Gerena was removed. He's the much better 1983 candidate since he can still be caught.

I knew Gerena's removal was coming soon for awhile, but with Van Wisse's I knew Gerena was going to get the ax quickly. I'm happy with Van Wisse's addition, but now that makes Robert Fisher the longest running fugitive on the current list and JDB is the only fugitive with an Increased reward, so hopefully Gerena's removal will do him in.

I decided to post this because it was very interesting statistic.
The age of the current top ten fugitives:
*William Bradford Bishop is currently 80, and will turn 81 in August 2017
*Yaser Said is 59 and will turn 60 next month.
Robert Fisher is 55 and will turn 56 in April 2017
*Robert Van Wisse is 51 and will turn 52 in February 2017
*Eduardo Ravelo just turned 48 in October
*Jason Derek Brown is 47 and will turn 48 in July 2017
*Marlon Jones is currently 41 (Captured)
*Alexis Flores is 41 and turns 42 in June 2017
*Luis Macedo is 28 and will turn 29 in March 2017
*Terry Strickland is currently 24
This says a lot about the now current list, many of these guys are in the age that we don't have to worry about them being deceased for the most part, and the need to not remove anyone for the next few years to come, (except for the elephant in the room Brad Bishop).

I wonder why Dan Hiers has not been added to the FBI Top Ten? Does his inclusion on the US Marshals list make it a moot point?

I wonder why Dan Hiers has not been added to the FBI Top Ten? Does his inclusion on the US Marshals list make it a moot point? Dan Hiers is specifically a US Marshals fugitive, therefore he's on that most wanted list. It would have been more helpful if he was added to the Top 10 as well since it is more well known in the mainstream. Personally, I don't think Hiers will make the FBI Top Ten since he's already on the Marshals list, However it is a somewhat interesting possibility.

It's very rare for a case to be on both the US Marshals Top 15 List and the FBI Top 10 list. The last time that happened was Ralph "Bucky" Phillips back in 2006 who escaped from an Upstate NY prison and shot and killed a trooper.
It's common for both agencies to handle a fugitive in general, but not to have them on both Most Wanted lists.

Hiers deserves to be on both. He should be a top priority fugitive as he is likely still alive and eminently catchable.

True. I dunno, sometimes it seems one agency is for whatever reason the one that handles the case. The Alcatraz escapees (Anglin brothers and Frank Morris) for example used to be handled by the FBI, but on the History Channel special on them they said the U.S. Marshals now handle the case.
I always thought the FBI handles cases which are in their federal jurisdictions and the Marshals since they're in charge of fugitive chasing are always involved also no matter what, but perhaps sometimes it is just one or the other. I'm not entirely sure.

I don't know if Scumhunter will agree, but the FBI Ten Most wanted fugitives list, starting off 2017, doesn't seem like much of a crapshoot anymore.
Many of the additions are after 2000, with 4 of the most recent additions from 2016.
