Thomas Glass, 45, was indicted again for the 1983 murder of his mother, Opal Glass.
The 70-year-old woman was found dead in her home on Nov. 18, 1983. Police found the woman in a sitting position with a single gunshot to her head.
Police believed she had been shot on Nov. 16, 1983, because a newspaper with that date was found near her body. Papers for Nov. 17 and Nov. 18 remained in the woman's front yard and several days' worth of mail filled her mailbox, records showed.
Police began searching for Glass quickly after his mother was found. He was indicted for the murder, but he wasn't arrested.
Records show he had forged one of her checks and used his own driver's license to cash it after her death. Her car was found in Las Vegas, Nev.
Glass' whereabouts since the killing are unknown.
Lubbock County authorities say they do not know where he is living or where he may be hiding.

Thoughts? That case description was from a 1999 archived web article and the last Law Enforcement website mention of Thomas Glass I could find was from 2011. I'm guessing that the Lubbock County Sheriff's Department is operating their fugitive coverage differently now so Glass is currently not being mentioned. However, I'm pretty certain he's still wanted as of this posting date (3/16/2016) and this case definitely needs some new leads.
