Even though this is a non-AMW fugitive, the name Sar I (pictured on the top right) may be familiar to some posters here, because back on the old board we learned authorities had asked AMW to air him in what they thought would be their inevtiable second season on Lifetime. We also commented on the unusual last name- just the letter I. With AMW not back and still in limbo, figured I'd at least post him here. Sar I is wanted in Ohio in connection with the disappearance of his ex-girlfriend and co-worker Claudio Lopez Escobar (pictured on top left). I is charged with murder, kidnapping and abusing a corpse. He was last seen at 10 a.m. on March 23rd, 2012 Police believe I, a 41-year old Cambodian, may be using his contacts to leapfrog through Asian communities from Cleveland to South Bend, Indiana. Anyone with information is asked to call the homicide squad at 614-645-4730. www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2012/05/01/man-charged-in-missing-coworker-case.htmlwww.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2012/12/01/no-claudia.html

I can only speculate that a year after Sar went on the run, he's still residing in Asian communities in the Northeastern/Midwestern US. I can't come up with anything else to add.

Interesting. Well, yeah there are some even more noteworthy crimes (not that what he's accused of isn't terrible). The FBI tends to add fugitives with unique aspects to them though, and let's face it, this is the one of the weirdest names I've seen for a fugitive. I've never even heard of anyone with a last name with only letter before him., let alone a fugitive accused of murder.

That depends on if he's still using his name and not using an alias. I see what you're saying though and the FBI has brought up recently that they've been trying to add fugitives with unique characteristics. To be fair, every fugitive added after Edward Harper had something about them that made them a real threat to society. I'm not trying to say that fugitives aren't dangerous, but something I've been noticing is that a large amount of fugitives profiled on AMW haven't been proven to have committed other serious felonies while on the run (at least something worse than carjacking). I'll list everyone added after Harper and explain way. #492: Jose Luis "Joe" Saenz: After committing three murders in 1998, he killed a fourth victim in 2008. He was believed to be working for a Mexican Cartel (although no one specific was ever mentioned). #493: Eduardo "Tablas" Ravelo: Senior capo of the Barrio Azteca gang, which can be estimated to have been involved in at least 800 murders in Juarez, Mexico since 2008. I've read recently that the Azteca's have gone through some restructuring since they got near slaughtered by forces working for Chapo Guzman and still pose a threat in the Mexican state of Chihuahua and the El Paso region. #494: Semion Mogilveich: He's a top worldwide mafia boss and is likely still involved in organized crime. Despite his age I doubt he's retiring from his spot in the Russian criminal underworld anytime soon. #495: Eric Justin Toth: He was a boy-victim molester with at least a few proven victims, which is the highest re-offense type of sex offender. He could also blend into many socio-economic lifestyles and pose a threat to a wide range of children. #496: Adam Mayes: Breaking-news addition but he still was a threat to the two girls he had abducted. #497: Fidel "Tonorio" Urbina: Aside from speculation on involvement regarding crimes in Chihuahua, Mexico, he's a serial rapist who sexually murdered 22-year old Gabriella Torres seven months after raping bar waitress Diana Vazquez. #498: Edwin Gracias: Was a member of MS-13 which is one of the most violent gangs operating in Latin America. Even though all fugitives should be considered a threat to public safety, I just don't see Sar I posing much of a threat to society in terms of re-offending. In fact the only FBI MW Fugitives added in the 2000s which I didn't feel like they would seriously re-offend would be Nikolay Soltys, Christian Longo, Timothy Weber, Robert Fisher, Genero Dorantes, Jorge Lopez-Orozco and Edward Harper, every one of those fugitives except for Weber, Dorantes and Harper were wanted for family murders where at least three people were killed.

It is true they've had aspects to make them unique threats. But even some of those guys had weird characteristics even Fidel Urbina as dangerous as he is, also has a severely pock-marked face. I see what you're saying though. Also, Sar I did allegedly not only murder but also kidnapped his victim and allegedly abused the corpse as well. I agree he probably won't get picked, but just trying to play devil's advocate on the off-chance, no pun intended.
