Two Roommates Shot Dead
On April 23, 2007, at about 2:30 a.m., Anthony Horahan came home to find his two roommates had been shot dead. He ran to his aunt's house around the corner and called 9-1-1.
The Clay County Sheriff's office responded to the call and arrived at the scene of the house in Middleburg, Fla. After a searching for motives, clues and suspects, all detectives could determine was that it was not a murder-suicide.
Cheslea Rohn, 16, and Matthew Brumbaugh, 21, Horahan's roommate, were dead on arrival. With so little evidence, it was going to be a difficult case for the Clay County Sheriff's detectives to solve.
An Unusually Quiet Night At A Party House
Despite the fact that Chelsea and Matthew were suspected to have been murdered between 12:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., no one heard the shots or saw anyone enter or leave the house.
Although the home shared by Chelsea, Matthew, and Anthony had a reputation for being a party house, the night of April 23 was relatively quiet. There was no party that night, and the cars coming and going into the early morning hours were absent.
It is known that Chelsea and Matthew purchased school supplies from the local 24-hour Wal-Mart around midnight. This visit is documented in two pieces of evidence: a receipt found on Chelsea's bed and a store surveillance video of the last time the couple was seen alive.
A Teenage Bride And The Ex-Boy Scout
Friends say Chelsea, a high school dropout, was purchasing school supplies because she had been considering going back to school.
Chelsea had also recently separated from her husband, Micah Rohn, 21. The two married in September 2006.
"I'm one of those people that don't believe in marriage," Micah said. "But something told me that I wanted to wake up next to her for the rest of my life."
Chelsea's mother, Jenna Shade, wasn't happy about the news. She felt her daughter was too young.
Maybe Chelsea's mother was right, as the young bride separated from Micah after about seven months and moved in with Anthony and Micheal.
Friends and family say Brumbaugh, who was killed by the unknown assailant, had been a Boy Scout. Family members said that after high school, ran with a wild crowd and became a different person.
Detectives haven't figured out who killed these two young people, but they say everyone seems to have a theory.
Chelsea's mother points the finger at Micah, believing that he was a jealous husband driven to kill. Micah, however, has not been charged with any crime.
Others suspect friends and partygoers. Police have not ruled anyone out but don't have enough evidence to settle on any one person. More information and a good lead are needed to help find the suspect of this gruesome double homicide.

Thoughts? The above is from the America's Most Wanted archives for the still unsolved murder of Chelsea Rohn and Matthew Brumbaugh. The case was aired on the October 6th, 2007 episode of America's Most Wanted.
According to a 2015 article, a Lieutenant believes drugs were being dealt of the house. There is no evidence Chelsea had any knowledge of this, but Brumbaugh was thought to have a history of drug dealing. Her and Brumbaugh were just roommates, the investigation showed. Detectives have interviewed numerous people but did not elaborate further in the article other than to say the third roommate had been ruled out based on their alibi.
