"Barry Helling was reported missing in December 2006, and his body was found January 3, 2007, off I-20 and U.S. Highway 78 in Riverside. After Mr. Helling disappeared, his credit cards were used in Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana and Texas. Investigation has led detectives across the Southeast after this man who is suspected of using the credit cards. Many times, the suspect, who usually wore a gold watch with a black face, drove away in the black truck shown here. Police say he could be from the Florida area, given the number of times the credit cards were used there.

Thoughts? This case was a web-exclusive case on America's Most Wanted's old website. Am I the only person thinking this is sort of the same M.O. as the Jericho Cooper/Mike Surber case. Both in the South. Both suspicious men in surveillance. And I believe whoever this man is likely befriended Helling in some way in order to wind up his credit cards. The same way the unknown suspect befriended Surber. No pony tail or beard but Cooper also wore sunglasses over his shirt:
The other case I think of is the unknown Nancy and Joey Bocchichio killer, since he has a similar hat and glasses, but this guy seems a bit older than whoever that klller is.
