From KREM website:
OEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – The man accused of allegedly shooting a local church pastor in a N. Idaho church parking lot on Sunday is a United States Marine who served from 2006 until 2010.
According to information released Monday by the United State Marine Corps, Kyle Andrew Odom, 30, of Coeur d'Alene, served from November 27, 2006 until November 26, 2010. Odom is a Corporal/E-4 and his military occupational specialty was a Flight Equipment Technician.
Odom’s last assignment was with the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, at Camp Pendleton, California.
Some of the service awards Odom earned include: Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal; Iraq Campaign Medal; Sea Service Deployment Ribbon; Global War on Terrorism Service Medal; and National Defense Service Medal.
Odom was deployed to Iraq from March 28, 2009 until October 17 of the same year.
Odom's ties to the Inland Northwest stretch beyond his military record. He graduated from Lake City High School in 2004, a Coeur d'Alene Public Schools spokesperson confirmed with KREM 2 News. Odom also attended and graduated from the University of Idaho in May 2014 magna cum laude with a degree in biochemistry, university officials confirmed.
Coeur d’Alene Police are searching for Odom after he allegedly shot Altar Church Pastor Tim Remington multiple times while Remington was walking to his car. Remington is listed as in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery, church and family members told KREM 2 News.
Police were called to the Altar Church just before 2:00 p.m. Sunday on the corner of 9th and Best. Police said they found Remington with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Kootenai Hospital where he continues to recover.
A vigil for Pastor Remington is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Monday at the Candlelight Christian Fellowship. The address is 5725 North Pioneer Drive in Coeur d'Alene.
s of Monday morning, Odom remained on the loose. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen driving in a silver Honda Accord, possibly a 2004 model. The license plate for the vehicle is K578519.
Monday afternoon, the family of Kyle Odom released a statement via text message about the shooting:
"Our family is devastated by Sunday's events," the text continues, "We are praying for Pastor Tim, his family and his continued recovery. We are also praying for Kyles [sic] safe return and to get the help he needs. We love you Kyle! Please respect our family's privacy during this trying time."
Also on Monday, eyewitness Tom Iverson spoke with KREM 2 News about what he saw on Sunday.
If you have any information on Odom’s whereabouts please call 911.

Thoughts? Apparently the pastor was praying at a rally for Republican Presidential candidate Ted Cruz the day before according to other articles. It is unknown if that is related, but regardless of what your religious or political beliefs may be, this can not be tolerated and it is extremely scary that Odom can allegedly shoot someone in broad daylight like that. I fear this is a guy who's not going to stop targeting people until he's caught.
