Kids Find Parents Dead
Two boys arrived home from school on January 23, 2007 and knocked on the door. Curiously, their mom didn't answer the door like she normally does. So, the boys used a spare key to get inside.
Once inside, the boys discovered their father's body inside the living room, while their mother's body was found in a bedroom. Their parents -- the people they loved so much -- had been killed. The front door was still locked. No guns were found inside the house.
Now, Nassau County Police have started a double murder investigation. Police don't believe this was a murder-suicide. At this point, they are searching desperately for a motive. Determined detectives hope a motive will help lead them to their suspect.
"Great Parents"; "Good Neighbors"
46 year-old Jaspal Singh, and his wife Geeta, were considered great parents and good neighbors. They lived in an upscale part of Long Island, New York and helped many Indian immigrants assimilate to their neighborhood. Neighbors say they're shocked by this violence; violence that rarely happens in the small town of Syosset, New York. The family had moved to Syosset within the past year, but have lived in the United States for the past twenty years.
Thoughts? This was a web-exclusive case on America's Most Wanted's old website. As if the murders weren't tragic enough, there would be another family tragedy. In January of 2014, Jaspal & Geeta's 21-year old son Pulkit Singh was found dead in his Philadelphia apartment. He was a college student at the Wharton School of business. It's not believe his and his parents deaths are connected. Exact cause of death was initially unknown, and I still can't find anything online that confirms what the cause was. Regardless of how Pulkit died, it just adds to the heartbreak over the years for the Singh family. Let's hope one day, someone makes that one phone call and/or Detectives discover the missing peace to the puzzle.
