FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas - Police are looking for a man wanted in connection with the murder of a 17 year old.
The homicide happened in the 16200 block of Pasadero in the Mission Bend subdivision on January 30. Around 8 a.m., Fort Bend County Sheriff's deputies responded to the call. When they arrived at the scene, the found Ali Abdelmaji dead from gunshot wounds. An investigation later determined that the victim had been shot during a robbery.
Abdelmaji was living with family in a neighboring subdivision. Sheriff’s detectives are seeking information concerning the whereabouts of Deshaun Karone “DJ” Jones in connection with this murder investigation.
Jones, 19, is described as a black male, 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighing about 130 pounds. He has black or brown hair and has tattoos on his face, chest and heavily on his arms.
Should anyone encounter him, they should not attempt to make contact as he should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information may earn a cash reward for information and is encouraged to contact Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers at 281-342-TIPS (8477).
